Les Corts Neighbourhood Festival 2026

Graphic design proposal submitted to the poster design competition for the Festa Major de Les Corts 2026, organised by Barcelona City Council through the Les Corts District.

The illustration captures the festive atmosphere of a traditional street parade, featuring the giants Jaume II and Elisenda de Montcada, accompanied by Aegis, the iconic fire-breathing beast of the Els Bocs de Can Rosés devil troupe. In the background, the beautiful Modernist Can Deu building, located in Plaça de la Concòrdia, provides the setting for this popular celebration.

Through a composition of geometric shapes, stylised figures and a vibrant, colourful palette, the poster offers a contemporary interpretation of the festive traditions of Les Corts, reflecting the identity of a lively, engaged neighbourhood with a strong network of local associations.
